Gigabyte GA-8PE667 Ultra Review (1)

We recently reviewed the Gigabyte GA-8SG667 and was quite impressed by it's performance. The only disappointment was the lack of features on board. In fact, most users would be more interested in a all rounder board and a great performer at a low price. This is definitely the ideal case but sometimes it is not possible to do that.

Well, the GA-8PE667 is one of those boards that strikes a balance between all the above factors. This board has some of the very exciting features : 6 channel audio, 10 USB ports, Promise ATA133 RAID 0/1/0+1, Dual BIOS, MS/SD connectors and a wide range of FSB up to 355Mhz for you overclockers. In the gallery, we have prepare snap shots of the mainboard and the feature set of this new mainboard based on the Intel 845PE chipset.
