IT SHOW 2010

If you intend to shop for accessories, Level 6 would be the best place to go for
the best bargains. Products range from iPhone backup charger to electronic toys,
mouse, SD cards, anti virus software etc can be found here at the back lanes. In
fact, we sighted a few shops selling USB dongles that promises thousands of TV
channels through video streaming. The cheapest one we found is at S$69. We took
a glance at it but it seems that the people there are quite camera shy and
forbid us to take snap shots of it. Anyway, we got it here for you a short video
of it.
Near the entrance we found something very unusual exhibitor. This company McCoy
iSolutions were showing some sort of mechanical robotic toys in the form of
insects. The inchworm can be controlled by remote control while the ANT reacts
to touch. Seriously, I have no idea why they are selling this ? It is not an IT
accessory but more of a toy. They also happen to carry the iRiver ebook reader
which we didn't see it at the booth that day.
At the MSI Booth, we saw the Core i3 and i5 notebooks selling from S$999. The
thing that caught our eyes though is this OAXIS e book reader. This 6" E ink
panel has a resolution of 600×800 with a PVI display and 4 level gray scale
