The Test

The pair of modules are installed on the Gigabyte P35C-DS3R mainboard with a E6300 processor. The reason why we picked a E6300 is because of its superior overclockability to high FSB.

In the BIOS of the Gigabyte P35C-DS3R, we set the memory module to operate at 2.3v, just 0.1v added to it. Ram timings are not changed except that we chose to run the RAM in SYNC with the CPU FSB.

3Dmark05 test

To ensure stability, we ran the baord with 3Dmark05 with 7900GT graphics card. It ran successfully without fail and completes the test with a score of 9539 with CPU running at 3.198GHz. See diagram below.

3DMark06 test

3Dmark06 is run and the system remains stable and completed the test without fail. A score of 5390 is obtained with the CPU running at 3.198GHz.
