Conclusion

The pair of modules as tested on the Gigabyte P35C-DS3R mainboard with a E6300 processor gave us a good impression of Super Talent's product. In fact, we have used our old pair of Corsair and it wouldn't allow us to run beyong the 525 MHz mark (it was in our Gigabyte review).

As we test the system with the modules, we noticed that POSTING at 540MHz works but is generally unstable due to the CPU. In fact, if we were to run ASync settings, we were able to POST at DDR2-1200 (with CPU running at 300MHz), but it was unstable at that speed.

In conclusion, the modules by Super Talent are definitely good alternatives for gamers and overclockers who wants the best stability and performance. Be it in SYNC or ASYNC operations, the modules has already outperformed its rated speed of DDR-1066 with modules cool to touch.
