Benchmarks

The system is setup to run the GPU Clk at 500MHz and Sideport memory clk at 667MHz (DDR3-1333). The mainboard memory used is Kingston DDR3-2000 and it runs at DDR3-1333 C7-7-7-20-1T. We tried to run it at DDR3-1600 using a ratio but it couldn't work even with lower timings.

As we are pairing the board with the Phenom II X3 710 2.6GHz processor, we are able to "open" up the 4th core in the test. In this benchmark, we check out the memory bandwidth of the system running the system in it's default 3 core versus 4 core. (Check out pg 3 of the BIOS screen shots on how to enable the 4th core).

As you can see form the chart below. Running the board with 4 core or 3 core doesn't impact the memory performance at all. There is very minor differences in the performance of memory bandwidth which is expected.

Arithmetic Processor test

For completeness, we included test of the board with GPU core running at 980MHz. There isn't much difference in the score as expected. With 4 core enabled, the increase in performance is noticeable. The increase is around 33%.

Multimedia Processor test

The same applies for the multimedia processor test. With the GPU Core increased to 980MHz, it doesn't seem to have much of an impact. The noticeable difference is when we enabled the 4th core. The jump is almost 33% for Double x2, Float x4 and Int x8.
