Benchmarks

3DMark05

The ECS N9600GT-512MX-P graphics card is first tested at it's factory default speed. Take note that the factory default of the card is o/c by default. It runs at 680/925/1728 (GPU Core/Mem clk/Shader Clk). This will definitely perform better than any NV reference card that uses the original setting of 650/900/1625.

Using the QX9770 paired up with 2 GB Samsung DDR3-1066 modues running at CAS 7-7-7-20, 2T, the card is run in 3Dmark05 and 3Dmark06.

In 3DMark05, we can see that this card scores 19007. This is not a bad score if we were to compare it with a default clocked 8800GT, the Vvikoo 8800GT-Max. In fact, the score is very close to a ECS N8800GT-MAX clocked at 650/950.  When overclocked to it's max. stable state, it scored 19339 at 770/925. This is far beyond the other cards we have tested except the overclocked Vvikoo 8800GT-MAX clocked at 780/950 which scored 19615.

3DMark06

The same test is done using 3Dmark06 as the benchmark. ECS N9600GT-512MX-P scored 11596 at default and 12441 at oc 770/925.

3Dmark06 reveals the weakness of the GPU as it is at least 7% behind the factory clocked 8800GT card. When overclocked to 770/925, the score of 12441 is just almost the same as a NV reference 8800GT speed.
