DOOM 3

In DOOM3, we take a look at the card's performance at default AA/AF and max AA/AF setting of 16xAF/16xAA.

At defaults, it scored 166.2 fps. This score is at least 10 fps below that of the 8800GT. (based on Vvikoo default NV clk). It gets a boost of 8 fps more when we o/c it to 770/925. Even at o/c speed, the performance is still a few frames behind the Vvikoo 8800GT-MAX which uses the NV ref clk settings.

When 16xAA and 16xAF are applied to the card, it maintains a high of 77.2 fps which is commendable. The non o/c Vvikoo 8800GT scored 75fps while the ECS N8800GT-MX scored 81.8 fps (oc by default).

What we can conclude is that in DOOM3, the scores of the factory o/c N9600GT-512MX-P is almost on par with a NV ref clocked 8800GT.
