ASRock P45XE-WiFiN Intel P45 chipset mainboard
review - SiSoft
Sandra XII Benchmarks
In this test, we checked out the difference between the 6 boards, the ASRock P45XE-WiFiN, ASRock P45R2000-WiFi, ECS P45T-A, Gigabyte EP45 Extreme, ASRock P43R1600Twins-WiFi and the ASRock X48TurboTwins-WiFi. The boards are running the ATi Radeon HD 4850 graphics card with an Intel QX9770 processor. Using CPU-Z, we checked the CPU Clk, the ASRock P45XE-WiFiN runs at 400.3MHz, ASRock P45R2000-WiFi runs at 400.3MHz, ECS P45T-A runs at 400.0Mhz while the Gigabyte EP45 Extreme was clocking at 400.1MHz, ASRock P43RTwins-WiFi is slightly o/c at 400.3MHz and the ASRock X48TurboTwins-WiFi clocks at 400.0. ASRock P45XE-WiFiN, ECS P45T-A, Gigabyte GA-EP45 Extreme and ASRock P43R1600Twins-WiFi runs a pair of Kingston DDR2-1100 module at DDR2-1066 @ C5-7-7-24-2T while the ASRock P45R2000-WiFi and X48TurboTwins-WiFi runs a pair of Kingston DDR3-1800 module at DDR3-1600 @ C7-7-24-2T. For the P45R2000-WiFi, we used the BIOS P1.20 for the test. As P45 doesn't officially support FSB1600, when we set the memory to run at DDR3-1333, it actually runs the memory at DDR3-1200. We can see that the differences aren't that far apart. Perhaps, the slightly higher clock of 400.3 gave it some advantage in the scores. As we can see, some of the scores are better than the X48 board.
