3Dmark05, 3DMark06 and
3Dmark Vantage benchmarks of ASRock P45XE-WiFiN Intel P45 chipset mainboard
review Benchmarks - 3Dmark2005/3DMark2006
Paired with two pieces of AMD Radeon HD 4850 running in
Single and CrossFire mode with Cat 8.6+patch. we tested out the board in a single and Dual 8x cross fire configuration. In the single card configuration, the ASRock P45XE-WiFiN
scored 18827, just 50 points behind ASRock P45R2000-WiFi
which scored 18895. Looks like the DDR3 on P45R2000-WiFi does play an important
part in pushing up the results. It is kind of interesting to observe that the
ASRock boards are all doing very well against the ECS and Gigabyte Let's take a look at CrossFire results. ASRock P45R2000-WiFi
scored 21684, ECS P45T-A scored 21083 while Gigabyte GA-EP45 Extreme scored
21433. The ASRock X48TurboTwins-WiFi scored 21530. The ASRock P45XE-WiFi took
the crown with a score of 21801. From the score line, we can see that the difference seems to
be substantial. Will this impact other scores in the other tests. Let's see.
In 3Dmark06, single card performance of ASRock
P45XE-WiFIN is 13113 which is way higher than the rest. The P45R2000-WiFi is 13098. This
score is very similar to the 2 other ASRock boards scoring 13087, 13103.
Something odd is that the P45 boards from ECS and Gigabyte scored 13032 and
13027. The difference is around a 100 points. In CrossFire mode, the ASRock P45XE-WiFiN scored
17997 but the ASRock P45R2000-WiFi scored 18014. Looks like we have a strong
performance contender in the making.
In 3DMark vantage, the score for the Performance is 7112, 5 points behind the
P45R2000-WiFi and 3 points behind P43R1600Twins-WiFi. This is again faster
than the Gigabyte and ECS P45 boards. In CrossFire mode, it scored 11679. It is
just 30 points lower than that of the X48TurboTwins-WiFi.
