Benchmarks

CPU FSB is still a valid and important criteria when judging systems performance. We measured the CPU FSB and documented it as below. Both boards runs at 266.7MHz right on the dot. The Gigabyte GA-P35T-DQ6 is paired up with 2GB of Samsung DDR3-1066 at CAS 7-7-7-20 while the GA-X38-DQ6 is with 2GB Corsair DDR2-1066 at CAS 5, 7-7-24. The ASUS P5E3 Deluxe is paired up with 2GB of Samsung DDR3 memory running at CAS 7-7-7-20. Jetway I35P-SG is paired up with 2GB of Corsair TWINX2048 running DDR2-800 at CAS 5-5-5-15 2T.

Sandra XII tests

From the chart, we can see that the Jetway seems to be at a disadvantage as it's BIOS does not allow us to run the memory at ASYnc DDR2-1066 mode. The RAM is run at DDR2-800 mode. Although the memory is run at a lower speed, that does not really impact the CPU processing. The only impact would be due to the lower clock speed at 266.0MHz. As can see from the chart that the Jetway I35P-SG is slightly slower, compared to the 3 boards in comparison.
