Gigabyte GA-MA69G-S3H (AMD 690G) mainboard review - PCMark 2005
Bluetooth 22 May 2007

Benchmarks PCmark2005

PCmark2005 tests a number of important items in today's computing world. File Compression, Encryption, Decryption, Audio Conversion, Web Page Rendering, WMV Video Compression, DivX Video Compression, Physics Calculation and 3D, Graphics Memory etc.

PCmark05 gives us an indication on how the system performs with effects from the bus system.

The boards are run using the integrated graphics core. As we can see from the chart below, the AMD 690G has an edge over its older RS485 chipset by approximately 7%. This could be due to the use of SB600 south bridge.

Catalyst 7.4 is used and we found that the board scored 3673 (cat 7.4) , which is better than the other amd 690g boards we tested. A check on the score with Catalyst 7.3, the result is similar to that of the  ASUS M2A-VM HDMI board.
