Bluetooth 11 Jan 2007

Benchmarks PCmark2005

PCmark2005 tests a number of important items in today's computing world. File Compression, Encryption, Decryption, Audio Conversion, Web Page Rendering, WMV Video Compression, DivX Video Compression, Physics Calculation and 3D, Graphics Memory etc.

PCmark05 gives us an indication on how the system performs with effects from the bus system.

The boards are run using the integrated graphics core. As we can see from the chart below, the EPoX EP-AT690 Pro has an edge over its older RS485 chipset by approximately 7%. This could be due to the use of SB600 south bridge.

The ASRock ALiveNF4G-DVI based on NF6100+410, seems to be slightly better in this test. Will this give it a better edge over the EPoX. Let's read on.
