EPOX EP-AT690G Pro IGP
mainboard (AMD 690G) Review - 3Dmark05/3Dmark06
Benchmarks - 3DMark2005/2006 With its driver 8.33, we ran the EPoX EP-AT690 Pro against the rest of the older generation chipsets. We can see that the EPoX EP-AT690 Pro beats all the board flat in this test with a whopping record at 1048 marks. That is arond 60% faster than its ATi RS485 chipset. In 3Dmark06, the EPoX EP-AT690 scored 311 marks. That is comparable to the ALiveNF4G-DVI board based on NF6100+410. Comparing the ECS RS485M-M of 168 points versus 311 points obtained using the EPoX board, we see a jump of ~85%. The results shows that integrated graphics are not really meant for 3D demanding games. In fact, in the next few pages, we will skip all tests of 3D games using the integrated graphics as all of them will not gartner even 5 fps in games like Riddick, DOOM3 etc.
