Benchmarks PCmark2005

PCmark2005 tests a number of important items in today's computing world. File Compression, Encryption, Decryption, Audio Conversion, Web Page Rendering, WMV Video Compression, DivX Video Compression, Physics Calculation and 3D, Graphics Memory etc.

PCmark05 gives us an indication on how the system performs with effects from the bus system.

From the chart, we can see that the board scored 3793. This score is very similar to the ASRock AliveNF7G-HDReady. Due to its Default GPU CLK of 425MHz, it scored lower than the EPoX and Jetway which runs up to 525MHz for its GPU. In our ASRock test, we adjusted the GPU CLK from 425 to 525MHz and noticed an increase in the score fro 3791 to 3852. Unfortunately, we couldn't find such an option in the BIOS of the BIOSTAR board with its latest BIOS available from the website.
