Benchmarks - 3Dmark2003/3DMark2005

In this category, we tested 3Dmark03. The systems are run with Forcware 66.93 as the previous tests for the EPOX was done using the same drivers. In a single card configuration, the ASrock K8SLI-eSATA2 scored 8374 vs 8132 which is almost 150 points faster. In SLI configuration, the difference is around 400 points. Looks like ASrock has the board really tuned to fight head on with the NF4 SLI board.

In 3Dmark2005, the scores are reversed. Asrock scores 5340 in SLI vs 5518 on the EPoX 8NPA board. In a single configuration, the results is 3100 vs 3202.

It is to my observation that newer forceware will give the NV combination much higher scores than using it with third party chipset. If that is so, will it give you the same kind of advantage in real gaming applications. We shall see in the following pages.
