Benchmarks PCmark2005

PCmark2005 tests a number of important items in today's computing world. File Compression, Encryption, Decryption, Audio Conversion, Web Page Rendering, WMV Video Compression, DivX Video Compression, Physics Calculation and 3D, Graphics Memory etc.

PCmark05 gives us an indication on how the system performs with effects from the bus system.

From the results, we can see the difference in results of pairing it up with an external or using the internal graphics. With the integrated, we get a score of 3858, this is largely due to the fact that 3D scored lower in the test.

As for pairing with the ASUS 7600GT, it scored 5151. This score is slightly slower than higher end chipset but it is above average compared to the other equivalent boards tested.

For both integrated and external graphics card tests, this board outperforms the AM2NF6G-VSTA. This is probably because the AM2NF6G-VSTA uses a single chip and only has a PCIex8 instead of x16.
