MSI MS-7093 ATi Radeon Express 200P (RX480) Mainboard Review 2/7

Benchmarks

Front Side Bus is still a valid and important criteria when judging systems performance. We measured the FSB and found that the board runs at 199.00MHz which is short of 1MHz. This can mean a few percentage points in performance. On the other hand the Gigabyte NF4 Ultra board is running at 201MHz.

Update : While testing the SLI version of the NF4 board, we noticed that the FSB auto overclocks beyond 201Mhz, this resulted in boosted values in the benchmarks. We presume that the non-SLI version K8NXP-9 does that as well as the results are quite similar when using with a single graphics card.

We used a pair of TwinX Corsair RAM and runs it at CAS 2, 11-2-2. Below are the scores obtained for ALU and FPU.
