Benchmarking

We checked out Q3 running Demo001 at 1024x768x32 Hi-Quality. SiS 648FX reference board does not seem to be pretty good scoring 349.7 fps against the 865PE (in blue). The Canterwoods (875P) is at least 10fps faster than it. Do also take note the ABIT BH7 which performs pretty impressive too scoring 348.3 just 1 fps behind 648FX.

In 3DMark2001SE, 875P reign. The 865PE Springdale boards perform slightly slower than the SiS 648FX reference board. The interesting fact is that ABIT BH7 (i845PE) is faster than the average Springdale (865PE).

In 3DMark2003, the scores are reversed. The Springdale boards apparently is able to tap the power of Dual Channel and taken advantage of that. The difference between them is not too apparent between the Springdale versus 648FX. In fact, after these benchmarks, I feel that there is life for 845PE too.
