The daughter card connectors. From left to
right : 12v Power connector connecting to the DVD-ROM drive. The ribbon
connector connects to the DVD-ROM and the 4 pin plug connects to the CD-IN
on the mainboard or sound card.
The card is screwed onto one of the empty
slot of the mainboard. There are 3 connectors at the card. One is for FM
Antenna, One is for connecting to your Front Spks and the other is for
Line In from your existing sound card.
When PC is not turned
on, the Blue LED is displayed and in this case, you can use the press the
left knob to switch between FM RADIO or CD playback.
This is when PC is
powered up, the backlit becomes orange in colour. Press the left knob
gives you only two selections of FM Tuner and PC Sound (for playback of
DVD, CD Audio etc through software).
Audio CD ejected out
from the tray (behind the front panel). This Drive is real quiet compared
to my other DVDROM or CDROM drives.
