Test Environment

  • Shuttle SS40 SFF
  • AXP 2400+ running SPD, 512M Winbond BH6 DDR333

Benchmark - DVDSpeed (Dual Layer DVD)

 

We used a Dual Layer DVD-ROM with a space of 7.83GB. It is apparent from the chart that the maximum reach is around 8X. This is normal as it is indicated on the cdspeed2000 site that this is always the case as it takes longer to read this sort of discs.

The seek time are all within the specifications posted on the specs. In fact, the tests shows a slightly faster speed than speced.  CPU Usage is exceptionally low at 1% even at MAX. Burst Rate is 1.11 MB/s
