Gigabyte 7S748-L SiS 748 Mainboard Review (4)
Bluetooth 29 Oct 2003

Benchmarking

We check out the results for ZD Benchmarks using CC Winstone 2002 and Business Winstone 2001 in this section of the benchmark tests.

On The K7 series of boards, SiS boards always seem to have better throughput when it comes to disk access and this resulted in better overall performance in CCWS and BWS.

In CCWS 2002, it is a clear fact that the SIS 748/963L is really very powerful and scored very well among all the boards. In fact, the results are so good that some of the K8 boards running A64 3200+ is not fast enough. The score of 48.1 is just 2 points slower than the fastest A64.

On Business Winstone 2001, the usual high scores are apparent on the 748 boards. Over here we can see that the Gigabyte 7s748-l does perform very well among all the boards compared.
