Benchmarking

We checked out Q3 running Demo001 at 1024x768x32 Hi-Quality. In this category, the SIS 748; a single channel DDR solution lost to the nForce2 platform. This is to be expected. In the chart, do take note that we are comparing various platforms and I would like to highlight that among the SIS 748 boards, the Gigabyte is slightly weaker score 305fps. That score is similar to the ASrock K7S8X-E and the DFI 748AL board.

In 3DMark2001SE Build 330, the results are quite the same among all the single channel K7 boards. IN fact, we can see that the results are quite similar to the KT600 board. Nforce2 boards still reign in the K7 platforms.

In 3DMark2003, the score of 4709 is a few points lower than the other SIS 748 boards. It is to be expected as its 3D performance is still not as good as other K7 chipsets but the difference isn't that much.
