BIOSTAR iDEQ200P nF3 150 SFF Barebone
Review (5)
Benchmarking We checked out Q3 running Demo001 at 1024x768x32 Hi-Quality. In this category, the SIS 748; a single channel DDR solution lost to the nForce2 platform. This is to be expected. The difference between the two boards is very minimal. It is only 0.2 fps which is hardly noticeable. In fact, what would happen if the FSB was 200.5, it would have got similar or high results. In all tests, Tyan Radeon 9700Pro is used and is running in 8X mode with Catalyst 3.2 (7.84) drivers for all boards tested. I was shocked, because the initial BIOS given to me recorded 388fps (FSB 201). I requested for an exact 200.00Mhz BIOS but BIOSTAR gave me a 199.5MHz. What I noticed is that the iDEQ200P is really amazing.! Even at 199.5MHz, it scored a high of 382 fps overtaking all the other A64 and P4 boards in this test.
In 3DMark2001SE Build 330, the iDEQ 200P scores 17345 which is average among the boards. It is slightly faster than the Gigabyte K8NNXP but slower than the ALi and VIA boards. In 3DMark2003, the iDEQ200P seems to be slightly faster by only a few marks. The differences among the 3 boards are not too far off from one another.
