The backplate of the board consists of PS/2 Mouse connector,Keyboard Connector. 2 USB 2.0 ports, COM1 port, Parallel port, VGA port (AK79G Max only), 2 USB 2.0 ports, 1 LAN port and Line-In, Spk Out and Mic in.

ACR Expansion slot, 5 PCI and 1 AGP 8X slot. Onboard AC Codec used is ALC650

A TV output connector is on board (near the 3 capacitors behind the LAN port). 4 mounting holes can be found around the Socket A for mounting heatsinks.

The yellow IDE channels (3x). The vertically mounted is a single channel IDE supported by Promise chipset.  Die-Hard BIOS II (2x BIOS) for backup of BIOS in case a corrupted ROM is flashed in. The blue colour connector is the USB 2.0 connector to external bracket.

184 pin DIMMx3 supports 128 bit dual channel DDR400/333/266 Max of 3GB (When enabling VGA onboard, memory can run max up to 333Mhz). ATX Power connector and FDD Connector. Next to the ATX power connector are two pins for connecting to external 1394 bracket.
