Shuttle SS51G P4 Barebone System (3)
Overclocker 25 Jul 2002

Benchmark II

Test System

  • Pentium 4 2.4B running 512M CAS 2, 2-2-5 1T cmd
  • 512 MB WINBOND DDR333 module
  • MSI GF3 Ti 200 w /det 21.83

We tested the board using 3DMark2001SE with MSI GF3 Ti200 for the graphics capabilities. With a score of 6980, it looks like the Shuttle SS51G is not bad as compared to the boards to that are sold in the market.

DroneZ shows the number of fps and it reigns over most of the boards using other chipsets. We can see from here the SiS 648 is still the best among all but the  Shuttle SS51G is not bad too.

We see the same again using Q3. Looks like the Shuttle SS51G is as good as the SiS648 when performing at DDR333 mode. This is surprising as most would have the idea that integrated boards usually don't perform well when paired with an external AGP card.

Lightwave measure CPU performance. The lower the score the better the performance. Again we see that the results are reasonably good but lost to the Intel RIMM4200 solution. The results is also comparable to the 645DX and 648 boards.
