Shuttle SS51G P4 Barebone System (2)
Overclocker 25 Jul 2002

Benchmark I

Test System

  • Pentium 4 2.4B running 512M CAS 2, 2-2-5 1T cmd
  • 512 MB WINBOND DDR333 module
  • MSI GF3 Ti 200 w /det 21.83

Comparing the SiS651 and SiS645DX (ASUS P4S533), it looks like the SiS651 scores slightly better in memory benchmarks. The WCPUID also reveals an accurate 133.00Mhz FSB.

The new IDE Busmaster Drivers 2.01.02 supports the new ATA-133 on the 962L South Bridge. I was stunned by the results as it seems that the 962L outperforms the 963 on SiS 968 Reference board. Will that translates it into better results for CCWS and BWS.

Content Creation Winstone 2002 scores 36.9 which is on the low. Usually the performance of CCWS and BWS will be lower if the board is highly tuned for graphics. Let's continue and take a look at the other benchmarks.

Again, we see that BWS 2001 didn't do too well too. Perhaps some drivers in the future might help in the performance.
