Benchmarking
We conduct the usual tests on the setup with
the following configuration :
Test System:
- AMD AthlonXP 1500+ and Thermoengine heatsink/fan
- IBM 15G 7200RPM ATA100 HD
- AOPEN 40X CDROM
- MSI Geforce3 Ti200 Graphics card
- Nanya DDR333 256MB DDR
- Channelwell 375W AMD Approved PSU
We used the BIOS supplied with the mainboard. We took the readings off WCPUID which shows
133.34Mhz. The system runs at CAS 2, Turbo. Other timings 2,5,2,2 as documented
in gallery (2).

Summary
Based on the AthlonXP1500+
The score of 50 points in fact overtook some of
the fastest KT333 and KT266A boards we tested. As we previously tested the other
SiS745 boards using an IBM ATA-100 HD instead of Maxtor ATA-133 HD (on ATA-100
interface), you can see the vast difference in Business Disk Winmark and HighEnd
Disk Winmark results.
I noticed that the disk performance of SiS745
ATA-100 is not very far off from KT333's ATA-133. (12400,26200) vs (13200,
27300).
From the looks of it, the MSI 745 Ultra at max.
timings does perform on par with the KT333 at DDR266/333 in the content creation
benchmarks
