Plus Granite Bay Dual Channel DDR Board Review (4) Benchmarking We check out the results for ZD Benchmarks using CC Winstone 2002 and Business Winstone 2001 in this section of the benchmark. Looks like the AOPEN AX4R Plus suffers just likle the Gigabyte 8INXP. The scores obtained by both Dual Channel DDR266 boards are surprisingly lower than it's brother's 845PE chipset. Using the Business Winstone 2001 Benchmark tool, the Granite Bay board AOPEN AX4R+ scores only 70 which is lower than some of the desktop chipsets. Does that mean that Workstation boards are tuned for better graphics and not tuned for performance in applications ? Next |
