Benchmarking
We conduct the usual tests on the setup with
the following configuration :
Test System:
- Intel Pentium 4 ES 1.5Ghz
- Thermaltake heatsink/fan
- IBM 13.5GB 7200 RPM HD
- MSI Geforce Ti200
- 256MB Nanya DDR333 DDR CAS 2.5
- IBM 20G ATA-100 HD

Summary
RAMBUS is still the best performer among all
platforms. SiS645 appears to be the better DDR platform for the P4. At
the max. timings, we are able to obtain a score of 1124/1119 which is higher
than the ABIT BD7 and DFI NB70. Looks like the memory benchmark, the SIS645 has
done quite a good job to compete head to head with Intel 845D. When it's run at
DDR333 (200/333), we can see the memory benchmark scores raising to 126x/127x.
This is pretty close to what RAMBUS can offer.
