Benchmarking

We conduct the a number of tests on the setup with the following configuration :

Test System:

Intel Pentium 4 2.4B
MSI 845PE i845PE mainboard running DDR333 Async mode CAS 2, 2-2-5
ABIT Siluro GF4 Ti4200 OTES 64MB with Detonator 40.41
Maxtor D740X-6L ATA133 7200RPM
AOPEN 40X CDROM
Corsair 512MB XMS3200 DDR400 module
Channelwell 375W AMD Approved PSU

Quake 3 Demo 001 1280x1024x32

Again, we see a stable performance in Q3 when we overclock it to 310/600. An impressive 8% performance jump from the default setting of 274.5/553.5.

In fact, if we were to compare to other GF4 Ti4200 which runs at 250/500, the performance gain would be more impressive. A possible 15% increase should not be too difficult to obtain.
