Benchmarks - 3Dmark2006/3DMark Vantage

Using the Gigabyte GTX 275 graphics card with Forceware 186.16, the benchmark is run in DDR3-1600 mode for both boards and in DDR3-1875 on the ASRock X58 Extreme.

From the chart, it can be easily seen that the ASRock X58 Extreme runs a bit slower in the DDR3-1600 timings. With the added feature of running it at DDR3-1875, we see a big boost in performance scoring 19319. in 3DMark06. That is a 5% gain.

In Futuremark 3DMark Vantage performance tests, the same board is run in the 2 configurations and compared to the ECS X58B-A. From the score, we can see that the X58 Extreme edged out the ECS X58B-A. When DDR3-1875 is enabled, it shoots up by another 5% in performance to P14650.
