3Dmark05 and 3Dmark06 benchmarks of ASRock 4Core1600P35-WIFI+ Intel P35/ICH9R chipset mainboard review

Benchmarks - 3Dmark2005/3DMark2006

Paired with a ECS 8800GT on board using QX9770, the mainboard is tested for it's performance in 3DMark06 and 3DMark06.

With the ASRock 4Core1600P35-WIFI+ with 8800GT graphics card, it scored 19498, almost 200 over points faster than a Gigabyte X48T-DQ6 running the same processor, graphics card. This is a pleasant suprise.

In 3Dmark06, the results are just the opposite. Could this be due to the PCI Gen 2. With ASRock 4Core1600P35-WIFI+ it scored 13310 while the Gigabyte GA-X48T-DQ6 (Intel x48 supports Gen 2) scored higher at 13364.
