Benchmarks - 3DMark2005/2006

When it comes to 3Dmark05 test, the AMD 690G boards perform better throughout. We can see from the chart that the 7050-630a all scored around 800 points. As we have mentioned before, the Jetway and EPoX board came default with an o/c GPU CLK, this gave them a better score.

ASRock ALiveNF7G-HDReady scored 801 points at 425MHz (default GPU CLK). WHen we overclocked it to 525MHz, we scored 904 points which is higher than the Jetway board running at the same GPU Clk.

In 3Dmark06, the ECS AMD690GM-M2 scored 307 marks. That is comparable to the ALiveNF4G-DVI board based on NF6100+410. The EPoX AT690 pro scored 311, slightly higher by 4 points.

Comparing the ECS RS485M-M of 168 points versus 311 points obtained using the EPoX board, we see a jump of ~85%. Our Gigbayte GA-MA69G-S3H scored 313 using Catalyst 7.4. That is just a few points higher than the other AMD 690G boards.

The system driver 14.10 we used comes with a display driver. ASRock ALiveNF7G-HDready scored 296 points in this test with its default GPU CLK of 425MHz. The two others with overclocked GPU Clks scored 330 and 303 respectively. When we o/c the GPU CLK to 525MHz, we managed to score 334 points for this test which is higher than the Jetway board at 525MHz GPU CLK.

The results shows that integrated graphics are not really meant for 3D demanding games. In fact, in the next few pages, we will skip all tests of 3D games using the integrated graphics as all of them will not gartner even 5 fps in games like Riddick, DOOM3 etc with "high settings" in game
