Benchmarks - 3DMark2005/2006

We paired up a ASUS EN7600GT with both board and loaded them with Forceware 84.21. The board is tested against a number of boards based on other chipsets. With the external VGA card attached, we can see that the results is almost on par with the rest of the boards. The difference could have been compensated if the CLK is running at 201MHz.

With its integrated core Mirage 3, the 3DMark05 result is not as good as the ATI and NV equivalent. That is to be expected as it is the first DX9 chip from SiS. It scored only 332, a 50% difference from the NV 6100 chip.

In 3Dmark06, the result of 3DMark06. THe results are pretty good when paired up with an external VGA card. With its integrated graphics, it only scored 57 points.

The results shows that integrated graphics are not really meant for 3D demanding games. In fact, in the next few pages, we will skip all tests of 3D games using the integrated graphics as all of them will not gartner even 5 fps in games like Riddick, DOOM3 etc.
