Sony Ericsson has been remapping its strategies for 2010 after its flagship
products Satio were bugged with problems in 2009. At the Asia Pacific launch
event with theme "EVOLVE, ENGAGE, EXCITE" tells us that Sony Ericsson is still
evolving, engaging and give end users excitement over their launched products
year after year.
Mr Hirokazu Ishizuka, Corporate Vice President Head of Asia
Pacific Region reiterates their UX (eXperience) in engaging the users for its
new series of phone. They will excite the users with exclusive contents with
their partnership with MTV. MTV will provide exclusive contents for the Xperia
X10 and they have more partnerships with other content providers in the months
to come.
Sony Ericsson will also focus on digital marketing campaign
and that includes Digital FIFA activation that takes Asian kids to FIFA world
cup as Flag Bearers and Best Asian Blogger Voting on FIFA World Cup reporting in
South Africa, in real time.
On top of that, Sony Ericsson will also be using Digital
brand Ambassadors to promote their products. Today, Sony Ericsson announces the
Digital Dance Contest where users can video shoot, upload and judged by public
and the digital brand ambassadors.
Sony Ericsson also took the opportunity to introduce their
Digital brand ambassadors, the popular Korean group 'The Wonder Girls'.

Asia also shares with the regional media the Media Scape and TimeScape feature
on the Sony Ericsson X10.
At the product demonstration area, media were
given a chance to hands on the 5 handsets. Xperia X10, Xperia X10 mini, Xperia
X10 mini pro, Vivaz and Vivaz Pro. The Aspen, Elm and Hazel were also on
display.
