Video 1: Features

In this video, we take a look at the options on the main screen. Using the navigation button, we can have direct access to twitter, facebook, organiser, alarm, Inbox, create message.

By click on the left button next to the navigation, we see a grid of options. We must take a look at the music player. The music playback is super loud and you can set it for background playing and in different modes- dynamic, wide, surround etc. You can also play it according to artistes.

Next is the browser. Although it is a EDGE phone, access to the browser is quick. You can also zoom in to various parts of the page by adjusting the settings.

It is easy to create a message with the QWERTY keyboard. Just type accordingly. The only trouble is taht you want to key in numerics, you would have to press the ALT key at the same time.

Under my files, you can take  look at the photos and videos shot using the built in camera.

The organiser comes with Calender, memo, task, world clock, calculator and converter.

In Camera mode, you can set the shoot quality, shutter and zoom sound,  default storage. The same applies to video camcorder.

There is a FM tuner in the phone which you can record it. Under Applications, there is Communictires, Games&More, Voice recorder bluetooth, Timer etc. Under Communities, you can access popular applications like Facebook, Flickr, Photobucket, picasa and Friendster. We also downloaded google maps and put it under Games and More. As there is no GPS, Google maps functionality is a bit limited.

There are 3 themes that comes preinstalled on the phone - Precision, Cartoon UI and Eclipse. My presonal preference is Precision. You can also change the dialing display, the shortcut configurations and greeting message.

Video 2 Messaging, Twitter and Facebook access

It is easy to update your status with twitter on the Corby TxT. Just click on the short cut and t will bring you to the web application. In a certain way, it is quite limited as you can attach pictures but just simply updating text status.

As for Facebook, it is a custom application but again, it is quite limited in a way, you can update profile, check friends etc.

In Email Inbox, you can set up to 4 accounts to download emails. In our video, we loaded the GMail and it is able to retrieve the mails. You can set an interval to poll for new messages.
