MS demonstrates
WinWord 2010 and PowerPoint 2010
Introduction
WinWord 2010
A research was done and found that most users do copy and paste the most. Ctrl C
and Ctrl V are one of the most commonly used keystrokes. The problem is that
most of the time, the user does not like the formatting or need to reformat it
and later decided to remove it as it doesn't blend.
WinWord 2010 simplifies it with Paste Preview. Paste Preview allows you
to see how it looks like with options of keep source formatting, merge
formatting or keep the text as it is. It saves you a lot of time, making it more
productivity.
Navigation view is another feature of WinWord. Very often you do not know
where to navigate if it is a long document. Now, with a search, you can now
allow you to find where it is and gives you an instant view of the word in
whichever paragraph or page of the document.
Backstage view is the director seat. Send it, print it etc. You can now
see how your document will look like before you print it. Save the print by
glancing it first.
You can also publish it to Skydrive.
Powerpoint 2010
Powerpoint now include picture editing tools within. You can change the colours
of the pictures embedded within your powerpoint. You can add artistic effects,
flip colours. You can also remove the background and make it transparent.
There are also new transitions to communicate your ideas to your customers.
Videos can be embedded in powerpoint. You can now change how the video look with
effects. You can also change the colour scheme of the video. You can also trim
the video say 30 seconds of a 5 minute video.
