MS demonstrates
Outlook 2010 mobile app, Excel 2010 chart in a cell and editing an Excel file
from Skydrive
Introduction
Outlook 2010
We have seen how Outlook 2010 Web app look like. In fact, a similar interface
can be seen on the Windows mobile phone. The consistency is there.
Currently the native Office client is for Windows Mobile.
Excel 2010
Excel makes the data presentation simpler and easier to understand. Instead of
viewing from a graph, Excel 2010 now makes it possible to have a chart in a
cell. So, within the same column of cell, you can see the analysis just
within a row. You can now send the table out to figure out the data.
Pivot Tables now allow slicers, allowing you to visually see the different year
results for example by tabbing the chart.
SkyDrive
SkyDrive is a free file hosting service of Microsoft. You can now view your
excel spreadsheet and it renders the same Excel in the FireFox browser. It looks
exactly just like what you see on the Excel 2010 PC client.
It also allows you to edit the excel spreadsheet within the browser. Charting,
Formulas can be done as per normal.
