Gigabyte GA-P55-UD6 Intel P55 Mainboard Review
-
SiSoft Sandra 2009 Benchmarks
The Gigabyte GA-P55-UD6 is paired up with Intel Core i5 750 processor for the benchmarks. The Intel original heatsink is used and mounted on the processor. As for graphics card, we used a pair of GV-N285UD-2GI 2GB running in single and SLI mode using Forceware 190.62 drivers. As the CPU runs at a default 133x20 multiplier, we chose to run it at a higher BCLK. To maintain the rated cpu speed and the to run the memory at DDR3-2000 (XMP), we lowered the multiplier to 13x and set the BCLK to 200MHz. 13x200=2.6GHz. At 200MHz, the clock generates a clock speed of 200.3MHz. With the memory running at XMP of DDR3-2000 it defaults to C9-9-9-27-1T. With a Dual channel memory architecture, the Kingston pair gave us a result of 21.23 GB/s. Running in SLI mode doesn't affect the memory bandwidth
Arithmetic Processor test For whetstone we get a score of 32.85 GFlops where as in ALU test, we get around 58GIPS. Again whether it is SLI or not doesn't' affect the CPU calculations.
Multimedia Processor test The same applies for the multimedia test. The scores are 29.64, 57.82 and 93.27 respectively for the Int x8, Float X4 and Double x2 tests.
