Benchmarks - CineBench 10

CineBench 10 is one of the popular rendering tool that supports newer SSE4 instruction sets. In this test, take a look on how CineBench performs using the Core i7 965 on the ECS X58B-A Mainboard.

It is not difficult to notice that when 1 CPU rendering is involved, the Core i7 series doesn't seem to perform way faster than the QX9770. When it comes to multiprocessing, it is definitely speedier than the QX9770 and Core i7 940. It is 13% faster than Core i7 940 running on Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5 and 27% faster than Intel QX9770 running at 3.2GHz on Intel P45 chipset mainboard.

As for ECS X58B-A, it seems that running the board at FIX multiplier x 133 does give it a disadvantage with a slightly slower speed in rendering as compared to the ASRock X58SuperComputer. Could it be the BIOS optimisation, or could it be due to the ram timings used are different on the two boards.
