Futuremark 3Dmark06, 3Dmark Vantage Results of ECS NGT220-1GQS-F NVIDIA GT 220 DX10.1 Graphics Card Benchmarks
Before we dive into the benchmarks, I would like to highlight that we have adopted new benchmarks and higher resolution in our tests. If you have any suggestions to the benchmarks used or comments, please feel free to contact us at webmaster at ocworkbench.com 3DMark06
With 3DMark06, the benchmark is first tested at it's default core and memory speed with a Intel Core i7 965 running on ASRock X58 Extreme mainboard. with 6GB of Kingston DDR3-1866. With the card running at it's default clock and ram speed 625/1360/800 (core/shader/mem), we benchmark 3Dmark06 and it scored 4049 marks. Using MSI Afterburner, the core is overclocked to 680MHz at default voltage, memory is run at 500MHz (1000MHz) and shader clk at 1479MHz. The 3Dmark06 score shot up to 4832. The result improved by almost 20%. To be consistent with ATi reviews, we use 8xAA+16xAF. When that is applied to the card, it dips to 3537.
In 3DMark Vantage, the card scores 1165 by default. With the core and mem overclocked, it shoots up to 1439 marks. With the 8xAA+16xAF applied, it score 1194. This is not surprising because the defaults already have AA/AF applied by default. When we applied 8xAA+16xAF on top, it doesn't seem to have much impact in the scores.
