Futuremark 3DMark06 and
3Dmark Vantage benchmarks of
ASRock M3A785GMH/128M AMD 785G+SB710 Mainboard Benchmarks - 3Dmark2006/3DMark Vantage
In 3DMark06 test, the board is tested in default mode 500/667
(core/sideport),
GPU oc to 900MHz and in quad core mode with GPU @ 900MHz. The last test is run
with it's sideport memory raised to 790MHz or DDR3-1580. As we can see from the scoreline below, the default benchmark
give us a score of 1786, that is higher than the DDR2 equivalent at 1762. As the
GPU can only run stable at 900MHz, we would expect it to be slower compared to
the Gigabyte DDR2 board running @1GHz. The ASRock M3A785GMH/128 scored 2465 in
this test compared to the Gigabyte @ 1GHz with a score of 2496. A DDR3
variant would give us a 100 points more. The more noticeable difference is with
4 cores enabled. This board scored 2518 with 4 cores while the Gigabyte DDR2
board score 2519 @ GPU running 1GHz. This is compensated when we ran the board
with a higher sideport speed. In 3DMark Vantage, at default it score E2326, just 30 points
behind a DDR3 equivalent. With GPU o/c to 900MHz, it scored E3497 while the
Gigabyte DDR2 board scored E3666. With 4 cores enabled, it scored
E3642 while the DDR2 board scored higher at E3805, a DDR3 equivalent is just 30 points better.
With Sideport increase, the score increase by 3 points. Looks like GPU @ 1GHz gives a substantial boost in this test.
