3Dmark05 and
3Dmark06 benchmark of
JGigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H AMD 780G+SB700 mainboard Benchmarks - 3Dmark2005/3DMark2006 In this test, we run the board in default mode and oc the IGP to see how far 3D performance can be pushed. We pushed the GPU Core to almost 1000MHz but the system couldn't POST. We managed to get it POSTING at 970MHz. We lowered it till 880MHz when it gets a stable during the 3DMark05 and 3Dmark06 tests. That is with +0.3v added to the north bridge voltage (max available in the BIOS). The default CPU clk is 500MHz. At default, it scored 2529 which is faster than the other two AMD 780G boards tested before. When we overclocked the board to 880MHz for GPU Core, it reached 2752. The closest score is from the J&W RS780UVD-AM2+ which scored 2751 when it was clocked at 900MHz. Looks like we have a speedy performer.
In 3Dmark06, the results at default is 1171. That is just a few points higher than the Jetway PA78GT3 and J&W RS780UVD-AM2+. When we o/c it to 880MHz, the score shot up to 1337. That is 2 points higher than the J&W RS780UVD-AM2+ at 900MHz. Although we managed to run the GPU core at 880MHz and score pretty well, the board simply didn't include on board buffer also known as Side port memory. The J&W RS780UVD-AM2+ has a 64MB of RAM dedicate to the graphics memory, this gives it a greater boost in the IGP performance. Hybrid CrossFire benchmarks on the last few pages of this review.
