Hybrid CrossFire, 3Dmark05 and
3Dmark06 benchmark of ECS A780GM-A AMD 780G Mainboard Benchmarks - 3Dmark2005/3DMark2006 In this test, the board is first benchmarked at default clk. It attained a high of 2533. This score is the best among the 5 AMD 780G boards tested. The ECS A780GM-A has a window of up to 999MHz for the IGP CLK. Although we managed to get it to POST up to 700MHz, a stable clock of 630MHz is achieved. We have seen boards attaining 900MHz with a slightly boost in NB voltage. Unfortunately we can't do that on the ECS A780GM-A as there is no such option available in the BIOS. We tested Hybrid CrossFire using a GeCube Radeon 2400XT graphics card. To enable Hybrid CrossFire, the system must be booted up with the Surround Video option enabled. ECS A780GM-A scored 3756. The Gigabyte got 3548 while ASRock scored 3831.
In 3Dmark06, we first test the board at default clock @500MHz. It scored 1169. Again, the score is among the best. We again changed the GPU CLK to 630MHz. The board scored 1181. We also tested Hybrid CrossFire using a GeCube Radeon 2400XT graphics card. It scored 2081. The Gigabyte board scored 2038 while the ASrock scored 2124.
