The ASRock P43DE comes with 2 PCI, 3 PCIe x1 and 1 PCIe 2.0 x16 slots. Behind the Green slot is the VIA Audio codec. Behind the GbE port is the Realtek GbE RTL81111 controller. To the right is the 8 pin AUX power and the power regulatory circuitry. At the centre of the board lies the P43 north bridge chipset.

At the bottom of the board is the USB external ports. There are 6 SATAII ports supported by ICH10. There is also a IDE channel supported by a VIA PATA chipset. To the right is 4 DIMM slot that supports DDR2-1200 with a max capacity of 16GB.
