Introduction
Kingston,
the life time warranty ram maker delivers its first DDR3 module at Computex. We
managed to loan a pair of 1GB to test it on the
Gigabyte P35T-DQ6 mainboard and
ASUS P5K3 Deluxe Mainboard.
This pair of modules model KHX11000D3LLK2/2G is rated DDR3-1066 and it is rated at 2.7v. The SPD timing is a bit lower than the GEIL we tested yesterday. It's SPD timing is CAS 7-7-7-20. We have seen that an increase in CAS Latency won't affect much of the performance, what about lowering it ? In the following pages, we will investigate it.
