Although many companies have announced their AMD 770 (RX780) mainboards, we
have yet to see them. So far, we have only seen one real working with A03
bios. That is the Jetway PA77GTA-VT.
Based on the AMD 770/SB600 chipset, this board supports the
new AMD Phenom FX, X4 processors. The board supports Dual Channel memory of up
to 8GB of DDRII-800. With the SB600, it supports 2 IDE and 4xSATA2 in RAID
0,1,10.
The board also comes with a PCie based RTL8111B GbE and a
HDA using Realtek ALC883 for high definition audio. A Max of 10 USB ports can
be supported.
Just like the other Jetway boards, the BIOS is full of
surprises. It comes with a wide range of voltage for overclocking the
CPU, VDIMM etc. The CPU Vcore 7 shift is one of the important features which
allows that to be made possible.
The onboard BIOS back function uses a SPI 8M which stores
extra bin file for BIOS recovery. when unexpected error occurs during BIOS
flash, The backup bin file will recover and you have your running system back
within minutes.
