3Dmark2005/3DMark2006
Paired with a ASUS EAH2600XT, the graphics
performance test is performed. Apparently, the difference between the difference
is noticeable. Gigabyte MA790FX-DQ6 based on the 790FX chipset leads the 770
chipset.
In comparison to the Intel Quad Core clocked at
2.3GHz, the two boards are not a match, lagging behind by around 200 points.
In 3Dmark06, the results shows a difference of
around 90 points when we compare both platforms. There is little performance
difference between the 790FX and 770 chipset.
We can see that the CPU/HDR/SM2 scores of QX6700
clock at 2.3GHz is generally higher. This resulted in a high final score.
