Benchmarks

Throughout our tests, we used the same board Gigabyte GA-P35T-DQ6 with 2GB Samsung DDR3 running at DDR3-1333 CAS 9,9,9-20. This is applied to both QX9770 and QX6700 (oc). When we overclock the QX9650 to 4GHz (9x 445), the memory is running at 1066MHz (5:6 ratio) at C8, 8-8-2,2T.

As for the QX9770 processor, it is set to run at SPD timings at DDR2-1066 CAS 5,5,5,18,2T

Sandra XII tests

From the chart, we tested the Arithmetic and multimedia performance of the CPU. It can be seen that the performance of QX9770 against the QX9650 is around faster by 7.2% in arithmetic Drystone ALU. 6.2% in Whetstone iSSE3, 6.6% in Int x8 and 6.7% in Float X4 iSSE2.

When overclocked to 420x10, the 3.2GHz processor soars by up to 31% in performance.
