Benchmarks

Call of Juarez (DX10)

We tested the DEMO of Calls of Juarez in VISTA. The benchmark is ran at two difference resolutions to see if higher resolution has a bigger impact on the PCIe 2.0. Take note that COJ applied a 4xAF by default.

First, let's take a look at 1280x1024, the score seems to favour the PCIe 1.0 with a score of 28.3 fps. In high resolution 1920x1200, the PCIe 2 platform scored 20fps, a 2fps lead over PCIe 1.0 platform.

At 8xA+16xAF, the frame rates sustain at around 20 for both resolutions. Looks like this game isn't that playable if you were to apply too much AA/AF.
